Voluntary Limits and Breaks
The demo has no account-based block or mandatory timer. Choose a voluntary time or virtual-stake limit before you begin, and stop between draws when you reach it. Closing or reloading the page during a draw ends that draw without refund or resume; the already-debited stake remains deducted.
Wallet Management
The demo uses a virtual wallet with an initial balance of 1000 coins. If the idle balance drops below 10, you can manually restore it to exactly 1000. This is a manual set, not an automatic replenishment or a deposit of real money.
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Restoration Trigger | Idle balance below 10 |
| Action | Manual set to 1,000 |
| Fractional Carry | Persists through settlement, refill, and reload |
| Unfinished Round | Ends without refund on reload |
The wallet balance is stored in localStorage. This local storage does not establish anonymity, nor does it prove that no other personal data are processed or that third parties do not profile your activity.
Game Mechanics and Payouts
Chromatic Stair uses a specific mathematical model. Ten independent fair bits choose which of the ten possible edges between five labelled vertices are present. The reward is the chromatic number minus one, where a proper colouring assigns unequal colours to adjacent vertices.
There is no Auto, Stop, or cash-out feature. One whole stake is captured per board. The raw reward raised to power 1, 2, or 3 is separately normalized by its exact mean over all equally likely complete draws, giving a 96% expected gross return in each mode. The multipliers shown are gross coin returns, not profit.
Privacy and Data
The game source uses localStorage for the settled balance and fractional carry. The template also declares a Google Fonts stylesheet, indicating a potential third-party request, though a full network capture is pending.
The absence of an account login or payment flow in the demo does not prove that no personal data are processed in a live environment. Clearing cached files may leave local storage data if not explicitly cleared. This guide does not promise anonymity, no sale of data, or specific encryption guarantees.
Audience and Age Policy
The intended audience for this guide is 18+. This is a policy choice for this independent review, not a legal age gate implemented by the game. It does not confirm that the game is legal in your specific jurisdiction. Responsible use pages here describe optional pauses and personal limits, not clinical diagnostic thresholds or biological explanations of addiction.
Support and Claims
The interface has no self-exclusion tool or enforced time limit. If play is interfering with your routine, stop and look for suitable qualified support where you live. This page supplies no verified external support contact and makes no clinical promise.
Frequently asked questions
Can I resume an unfinished round after reloading?
No. An unfinished draw ends without refund or resume. The balance persists, but the specific board state is lost.
Does the 18+ label mean I am legally of age?
No. This is the guide's intended audience policy. It is not a universal legal age or an enforced age gate by the game.
How is the balance restored?
If the idle balance is below 10, you can manually set it to exactly 1,000. This is not an automatic refill.
