Chromatic Stair: Practical Questions & Demo Guide

The official website of 785bet.

The official website of 785bet. This guide explains the Chromatic Stair demo, its unique scoring based on graph theory, and how the virtual wallet operates. The demo is independent; it does not represent an external casino or operator.

How is the score calculated?

The board consists of ten independent fair bits choosing a subgraph of the labelled complete graph K5. The raw reward is the chromatic number minus one. A proper colouring assigns unequal colours to adjacent vertices. The raw reward raised to power 1, 2 or 3 is separately normalized by its exact mean over all equally likely complete draws, giving 96% expected gross return in each mode.

What are the game modes?

There are three modes, distinguished by the power applied to the raw reward:

  • Power 1: Normalized mean based on linear reward.
  • Power 2: Normalized mean based on squared reward.
  • Power 3: Normalized mean based on cubed reward.

Each mode maintains a 96% expected gross return.

What are the stake options?

Stake buttons are set at 10, 20, 50 and 100. One whole stake is captured per board. There is no Auto, Stop or cash-out feature.

How does the virtual wallet work?

The initial balance is 1000. An idle balance below 10 can be restored manually to 1,000. Fractional payout change persists through settlement, manual refill and reload. Settled balance including zero persists locally.

What happens if I reload during a draw?

An unfinished round ends without refund or resume. If you reload the page, the unfinished draw is not refunded. You can only restore the balance manually if it drops below 10.

Is there an account or login?

There is no account or payment flow. The demo uses localStorage for settled balance and fractional carry. This does not establish anonymity or exclude other processing. The page template includes Google Fonts.

Frequently asked questions

What is the expected RTP?

The expected gross return is 96% in each mode. Measured RTP may vary slightly due to simulation limits.

Can I cash out early?

No. There is no Auto, Stop or cash-out. One whole stake is captured per board.

How do I restore my balance?

If your idle balance is below 10, you can manually restore it to exactly 1,000.

Does fractional carry persist?

Yes. Fractional payout change persists through settlement, manual refill and reload.

What happens if I reload mid-draw?

An unfinished round ends without refund or resume. You will need to start a new draw.

Are there different controls for each mode?

All three reward-power modes share the same stake and draw controls. Stake, mode and refill stay locked during a draw; sound remains available.

Is this a real casino?

No. This is an independent demo. It does not represent an external casino or operator.

Is my data private?

The demo uses localStorage for settled balance and fractional carry. This does not establish anonymity or exclude other processing.

What is K5?

K5 is the complete graph on five vertices, with ten possible edges. Ten independent fair bits choose which edges are present in the drawn subgraph. Its chromatic number minus one is the raw reward.

Can I play on mobile?

Yes, the demo is browser-based and works on mobile devices.

Is there a minimum stake?

The minimum stake is 10.

Is there a maximum stake?

The maximum stake is 100.
